Public Parking



Exit 15 off Route 195, Right at the first set of lights.


PARKING GARAGES

Elm Street parking garage
  • Take Route 195 east or west to exit 15 (Route 18 South)
  • At the first set of traffic lights (approximately one mile) take a right onto Elm Street
  • The parking garage entrance is on your right, just past the Standard Times building.
  • Parking is free at the Elm Street garage for Greater New Bedford Summerfest attendees with a wristband.

    Zeiterion Parking Garage*
  • Take Route 195 east or west to exit 15 (Route 18 South)
  • Go through two sets of traffic lights
  • Take the next exit (it comes up very quickly and isn’t marked very well)-School Street
  • At the third stop sign, at Purchase Street, take a right
  • At the next intersection (Purchase and Spring Streets) take a right
  • At the end of the street, take a right onto Acushnet Avenue
  • The parking garage entrance in on your right.
  • Parking is $2.00/hour or $10.00/day.

    * you will not be able to get into or out of the Zeiterion parking garage between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday due to street closures associated with the Cape Verdean Recognition Parade.


    ON-STREET PARKING
    There is on-street parking available throughout the Downtown during the festival. Parking spaces with meters are free during Greater New Bedford Summerfest.
